About six years ago, I was a hardcore WWE fan. Back then, they used to scream "D.T.A." every now and then. It stands for "Don't Trust Anybody". In contrary to the life that followed, I wasn't exactly sure how well it fits into reality as well. Everybody has their own concerns and objectives. There's no denial to that. After all, some of us are good to others because we are selfish about getting Heaven in the Hereafter. So why blame anyone? We're all parasites; toiling hard to get the maximum out of each other with the minimum pain to one's own self.
I always consider trusting someone like putting one's cold hand into a fire. For a tiny moment, it feels like the best thing in the world. But it doesn't take long before the element of hell makes its true nature felt. Henceforth, even if you feel cold, you might not put your hand in again.
We all have this fire in us, some kindled more than others. The fire of selfishness.
